Antonio Brown Practices, Looks Ready To Go
The Pittsburgh Steelers lost Antonio Brown to a calf injury during their week 15 game against the New England Patriots, which forced him to miss the remaining two games in the regular season.

Despite not playing in the last two games of the season, Brown still led the league in receiving yards, finishing with 1,533 yards and nine touchdowns.
After their loss to the Patriots, the Steelers said they expect Brown back in time for the start of the playoffs, which improved the Steelers odds for the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
During their bye week, there were reports that Brown had started training intensely for his comeback, and there were even videos that showed him working on his footwork with former NFL receiver Chad Johnson, which showed Brown running around without a limp.
On Monday, Brown practiced with his teammates for the first time since the injury, and from the reports, he looks ready to go.
Brown reportedly blew away his coaches and teammates with how well he moved in practice, and head coach Mike Tomlin, who paid extra attention to the All-Pro receiver during the practice session told reporters during his media session that he was excited with the progress Brown has made and expected him to continue practicing throughout the week.
Cornerback Joe Haden, who got to see what Brown can do up close, said he expected the receiver to be back for the playoffs but didn’t expect him to look as good as he did.
Even though Brown hasn’t been activated, all signs point to him playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
During their bye week, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was asked which team he would rather face this week, and he told reporters he wanted to go against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Roethlisberger’s response was understandable because he had his worst game as a professional against the Jaguars and would love an opportunity to get some payback for the 30-9 loss to the Jaguars in week 5.
After their win over the Buffalo Bills, Jaguars cornerback A.J. Bouye told Roethlisberger to be careful what he wished for, and predicted the Jaguars will defeat the Steelers this week because they got inside Roethlisberger’s head in the first meeting and will do it again.
The only problem with Bouye’s statement is the Steelers were their own worst enemy in that game, and kept on looking for way to shoot themselves in the foot.
With a healthy Brown in the lineup, the Jaguars, who couldn’t contain him in the first game, will not only have to deal with Brown. They will also have to account for rookie wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster, who exploded in the second half of the season and finished with 917 yards and 7 touchdowns in 15 games.
The Jaguars will also have to account for Martavis Bryant, who is still a dangerous deep threat, and Le’Veon Bell, who was still getting in football shape because of a holdout when they played the first time.
Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles will also have to worry about the pass rush as the Steelers finished the season with 56 sacks this season, which was more than the Jaguars had.
After the Steelers defeat the Jaguars, they will turn their attention to the New England Patriots, who they have to play on the road, and once they get past the Patriots, they will be ready for any team that comes out of the NFC in the Super Bowl.
